On Sat Mar 06 2010, maltmanfamily promised:

Give My Sons The Most Eco-friendly Easter Possible

Read your article 'Put a Little Green into Your Easter Basket This Year'. So far all the candy and chocolates are organic fair trade. I had no idea how much a pound of shred paper was sooo I bought 3 pounds and am sharing around the neighborhood! Planting your Easter Grass is a great thought! The Easter Baskets although I am not sure if they are Fair Trade, we have had one for 3 years and the other for over 8 so they are being recycled! We plan on using the egg dye methods and are very excited to see the results!

Obstacles: My oldest son (17) sometimes battles against mom and dads efforts and why should Easter be any different. The minute I mention Organic / Fair Trade I get the eye rolling thing. I am hoping he will at least try to enjoy the candy. I think that it is all better than anything I've ever eaten in the past!
